Greek pentathlon.
In 1951 the American Frank Bud Held studied the laws of mechanics for the dart and dart perfected the form
enabling better the same plane.
In 1953, with his dart glider Held for the first time exceeded 80 meters.
In 1956, the Spanish Salcedo showed that the dart can go further with the centrifugal force.
In the act of shooting after having moistened the flat slide left by the tail after making a pitch in the rotation as
hard, and managed to exceed 100 meters.
This compromised the lives of spectators, and judges, and has challenged
the dimensions of the stadiums.
This technique was prohibited by the rules.
