Strength, Stamina and Endurance.

Strength, Stamina and Endurance.
Strength: The strength concept refers to the ability to overcome great resistance. At the time factor might not have
fundamental importance, while in power, the time factor is decisive. To manage the development of strength
muscle, there is need to increase the cross section of the muscle that is being worked on, and this is only possible with
a maximum load, determining few replications (4 to 6).
It is recommended to group these efforts series, interspersing them with relatively large pillows for recovery.
How to develop strength:
a) series of exercises with weights (dumbbells);
b) series of exercises with fellow weight;
c) exercise series as opposed to the partner;
d) series of exercises with medicinebol;
e) series of exercises with the body's own weight;
f) series of exercises on the bar;
g) exercise series with additional weights, attached to the body.
Strength and Endurance: As the strength, stamina and endurance are qualities to be developed through
overload principle, application of stimuli calm, in order to produce an adaptation of the organism.
Overall research in physical education leads us to the conclusion that the formal gymnastic exercises serve today
only as a supplement to a cardio-conditioning respitatório.
Can be called exercise all muscle movements against a resistance (muscle contractions). On its
Instead, isometric exercises can be - no movement; isotonic - with movement.
Isotonic anaerobes: velocity exercises of short duration (up to 2 or 3 minutes). It uses the energy stored tissue,
without the need of oxygen.
Isotonic aerobic: exercise of great length (over 3 minutes). Use oxygen from the external environment.
Aerobic little intense: balance between absorption and consumption.
Aerobic very intense: no system condition cardio respitatório to carry all the oxygen necessary to
is partially anaerobic exercise.
The goal, when seeking increased strength and endurance is to gain a greater ability to transport oxygen
by cardio respiratory and circulatory system.

Exercise -> muscle contraction - isomeric
Exercise -> muscle contraction - Isotonic - aerobic and anaerobic.
The first scientific method of resistance training and endurance was systematized Interval Training (Gersler and
Heindell), working with continuous loads and interspersed thence arise various methodologies based on physical education
new process. One can also obtain strength and endurance through load circuit; mixed work, is a labor
great results for children and adolescents, as vai meeting their psychological needs -
Circuit Training (Morgam and A-dams).
How to develop strength and endurance:
a) Interval Training
b) Circuit Training
c) Fartleck
d) Cross-Country
e) Long runs
